Celebration Singers of Asheville



Now in our  6th year, Celebration Singers of Asheville is a community chorus for young singers ages 7-14 who are talented and committed to excellence.  Founded by Artistic Director Ginger Haselden in 2007 as a 501(c)3 non-profit educational charity and officially endorsed by the Asheville Lyric Opera Vocal Arts Program, Celebration Singers of Asheville presents two concerts a year and sings by invitation with the Asheville Lyric Opera, Asheville Choral Society, Transylvania Choral Society, choir festivals, senior citizen communities and  local/statewide civic events.  In April 2012 we performed in Carnegie Hall.

 MISSION STATEMENT:
Celebration Singers of Asheville strives to ignite a lifelong love of singing by nurturing the full expression of each individual's potential for artistic and personal excellence by emphasizing healthy vocal technique, expressive singing and music literacy, while simultaneously engendering growth of discipline, responsibility, teamwork, self-confidence and self-esteem.

Home:    Join Us  -  Auditions for 2013-14  to be held Thursday, Aug. 29th, 2013,  6:00 p.m., 
First Congregational United Church of Christ, 20 Oak St., downtown Asheville.  Prepare a song and bring sheet music.  Tuition for year only $80--includes music.  Music education and performance fun!
